Laganas is one of the most famous tourist resorts in Zakynthos. It is located on the south part of the island and offers a wide range of restaurants, tavernas, bars and clubs for your evening entertainment. Its sandy beach is a nest area for the endangered Caretta Caretta turtles.
You can practise water sports or rent a motor boat and go to Marathonisi, also known as Turtle Island. At a small distance you will find Zakynthos town, Kalamaki, Agios Sostis and other tourist resorts you can visit.
